Terbium (Tb) is a metallic chemical element with atomic number 65. Just like yttrium, erbium and ytterbium, it is named after the Swedish village Ytterby, where it was first discovered.
There is only one terbium isotope found in nature and that is 159Tb, with 65 protons and 94 neutrons.
One use case of terbium is terbium oxide, which is sometimes used as the green color component in TV screens.
